This week is National Hurricane Preparedness Week. It is best to know what to do before it happens instead of suffering after the fact. Keep plenty of batteries for flashlights. Remove swinging objects that are close to windows such as porch swings. Keep some cash on hand. Have food that does not require cooking. Store some bottled water.
