As an insurance agent, I always view the business owner who brings their dog to work as creating an atmosphere of increased liability exposure from a dog bite perspective no matter how cute the puppy is. This happens more than you might imagine. Some companies are moving to allowing employees the flexibility to do the same and also bring pets to work. This is an interesting article from a legal side to consider some potentially dangerous actions such as 1) it may violate your agreement with your landlord 2) there may be employees you are allergic to animals that you are violating their rights by not protecting their workplace.
