This week we have helped a couple of customers by unpackaging their policies. They actually would have paid more by having all policies with one company. What I mean by this is that as an independent agent we have access to many carriers that write a full range of insurance policies. By knowing the companies target pricing points(new discounts, extra credits given for certain situations) we can place policies with different carriers but still within the scope of our agency and save customers substantially.
